Alex’s body is in a coma. His soul, however, is not. Desperate to become whole, he must first convince stubborn beauty Evening Sinclair that he is not dead.
For generations, the Sinclairs have been healers. Using a gentle touch to heal the body and a soothing word to heal the soul, Evening Sinclair is no different. Yet despite her secret abilities, Eve has a somewhat normal existence. She enjoys her small physiotherapy practice, dotes on her eight-year-old daughter and occasionally helps souls get back into their bodies-that is until Alex, with his brooding good looks and glowing eyes, appears in her kitchen.
Alex is desperate to get back into his body-two innocent lives depend on it. His only obstacle is Eve and her stubborn fear. Unfortunately for Eve, Alex is ruthless and just as stubborn. He will do whatever it takes to get what he wants. He will not 'go away' and no matter how much Eve tortures him with her lush body and perfect mouth, he will not change his mind. Eve will merge him, and if it takes him haunting her day and night, she will merge him back with a body-any body.
Guns raised, both men descended on the figure as it cowered in the corner of Rhodes’ private bathroom. Alex fixed his eyes on the target as he moved closer. Then stopped, stunned by what he saw. A woman. A pregnant woman. He grabbed Miles’ shoulder. “Wait.”
“What for?” Miles asked quickly.
The woman turned her face, showing her tear-stained brown eyes. Those beautiful eyes grew wide when she saw Miles. “Rick?” The woman called Miles by his cover name.
“What’s going on? Why did you…?” She couldn’t finish, tears slipped over onto her cheeks as her lips began to tremble.
Alex studied the woman. “Who is she?” And what is she doing here with Rhodes?
“Jillian Reid, Rhodes’ secretary.” Miles pulled his lips into a tight line and lowered his gun. “What are you doing here, Jillian?”
Alex watched Miles silently. Body tense, eyes flat, although, his voice did carry a slight emotional attachment. Something was off.
The woman sniffed and peeked at him between her fingers. “We were late coming out of a meeting and I had to catch up on a few things. I ended up missing my bus. Mr Rhodes said he would give me a ride home.” She sniffed again. “He said I could use his bathroom before we left, so I didn’t have to walk upstairs.” Her face crumbled a second time. “Why…why did you kill him, Rick?”
Miles raised his gun. The woman whimpered.
“Hey,” Alex warned. “You are seeing what I’m seeing, right?”
“We have the go to eliminate witnesses. She’s a witness.”
Nancy’s addiction for a good trash novel began in her late-teens when her grandmother gave her a bag of Harlequin Romance books. She was hooked and spent the next few years lurking in the dark corners of used bookstores searching for her next fix. Until, one marriage and two kids later, her own ideas had her jumping up at 3 am (much to her husband’s annoyance) and typing them into her laptop.
Besides her husband and children, Nancy has three passions, rearranging furniture, buying bed linens and, of course, writing. Nancy lives in Eastern Ontario with her family and two over sized lap dogs.

Great sounding story and I really love the cover.
Thanks for coming by everyone.
It’s good to see I’m not the only paranormal junkie in the house! LOL
I love paranormals, the stranger the better and if I get a good fright...I’m in heaven.
I have an obsession with buying bed linens, too! Have you noticed how challenging it is to buy separates these days? I used to LOVE buying an eclectic mix and match of queen fitted and king flat sheets. Now everything comes packaged in sets. I miss my mix & match! LOL...

I use to feel your pain Catherine Lee. Then decided that buying more sets would solve that problem. Which it did, but know I'm running out of cloest space. LOL But I can tell you my bed looks awesome!
You know how to hook a reader with that excerpt. Sounds exciting.
